Terms of Business

1. Our Duties
  • The cost of the repair will only be charged after obtaining consent and confirmation from the customer.
  • Fast Turnaround period is normally within 3 working days or less. Under some circumstances, it may take longer due to parts availability, but the customer is kept informed during this period.
  • Repairs mean restoration of equipment to its original working condition according to customer's fault report and requirements. Operating systems, software or other hardware will not be installed to the repaired equipment unless specially requested by the customer.

2. Your Duties
  • Any equipment sent to Euro Repairs, must arrive with the estimate request form or a fault report. The information given by the customer is only for Euro Repair’s reference, while Euro Repair’s testing record will be the final result.
  • The customer should backup data before sending their laptop to Euro Repairs for repair. Euro Repairs shall not be liable for the data stored on media.
  • Any uncollected equipment left at Euro Repairs for more than 3 months from quotation or invoice will be scrapped or forfeited as payment in lieu. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the courier's delivery form are signed when receiving packages.

3. Warranty
  • We offer three months return to base warranty (except when otherwise specified) on parts we sell and equipment with the same fault as previous repair that serviced with effect from our invoice date.
  • Warranty will expire or be ineffective if our warranty label has been tampered with, the faults are not as previously repaired or are related to the original faults and the equipment has been modified, mistreated, misused, or improperly handled.
  • Return equipment, which are out of our warranty are not covered and will be charged.
  • All newly replaced components have a full 12 months manufacturer’s guarantee.

4. Payment method
We accept the following method of payments:
  • Cash ( Please send by Recorded Delivery) although we accept cash we do not encourage this mode of payment for security reasons. Cash is sent at your own risk.
  • Cheque (please allow three working days)
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Postal order (crossed) Euro Repairs
  • The parts or equipment which have been sold, but returned by customer within 5 working days in the same condition, will attract a 30% restocking fee
  • Payments can be cash, cheque, BACS or CHAPS, Paypal. Payment has to be made on delivery or collection. We can arrange payment collection on delivery (COD) for a £10.00 extra charge in addition to the normal delivery charge. For regular customers, we may arrange special payment terms.

5. Our Disclaimer
  • No responsibility for the expiration of manufacturer's original warranty on equipment that has been sent to Euro Repairs for inspection or repair.
  • No responsibility for any data loss during repairs.
  • No responsibility for returning defective or replaced parts.

6. Claims and Compensation
  • Claims for damage or lost of equipment during shipment, which is arranged by Euro Repairs, are according to Courier and Insurance Company's Terms and Conditions. Any damage of goods whilst in transit should be reported to Euro Repairs within 48 hours upon receipt and all packaging should be kept for further inspection.

7. Insurance
  • The courier services provided by Euro Repairs are automatically covered with insurance for loss or damage up to £500 per consignment. However, if customer needs to increase the cover value, a premium of £5 for per £500 cover should be added to the standard charge. In the first instance any claim that customer may make should include the deduction of our losses. Please note that the claim policy is not a new for old, the compensation is dependent on the market value at the date of impact.

8: Delivery methods
  • All deliveries are fully insured. Delivery cost is £12 plus VAT in mainland UK excluding Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Cost of delivery outside UK may vary. Packages will be dispatched once invoices are paid in full. All return delivery charges are borne by customers and must be insured to the value of the equipment.

9: Privacy
  • All information regarding your personal details or those of your client obtained in the course of our trade is used for the sole purpose of business. We do not and will not share any personal information with any third parties nor do we use any personal information for any purposes beyond those stated here.

10. Others
  • We reserve the right to change any of the above without prior notice.
  • All prices quoted are subjected to VAT at 15% from 1st December 2008.
